Hi! đź‘‹

I'm Poppy, I'm a postgraduate student at Cardiff University and I'll be one of the tutors working with you on the Step Up Research Project.

I did my undergraduate degree in Archaeology at the University of Nottingham, which I enjoyed so much that I decided to come back to university in Cardiff. I'm still based in Archaeology (my speciality is animal bones!) and I'm currently researching how Archaeology can be used in Primary school education to teach children about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). My research field is really broad, and I've had to think carefully about how to combine each subject area. If - like me - you're interested in lots of different subjects, feel free to ask me any questions you have about studying your areas of interest at uni.
